Mao Zedong, who is also famous as Chairman Mao was a famous communist revolutionary. He was a revolutionary man and brought innovation and freedom to China. He was the president of the People's Republic of China. He ruled this Republic while staying in the Communist Party of China and he ruled it from 1948 to 1976 till his death.  The word Maoism is primarily used for his military strategies, Political policies, and for his theories as well.   Mao Tse Tung was the son of a farmer called Shaoshan who lived in a village called Hunan.
