China's total box office (including pre-sales) of 2022 officially went past the 10 billion yuan ($1.57 billion) mark as of 9:17 p.m. on Wednesday, stated by the real-time box-office tracker Dengta. It took only 40 days to accomplish this feat, the fastest in Chinese film history.
